Hello adventurers! We have indentified an issue that was happening during encounters. Now all of the text should be correct when choosing options.
Notes
- Fixed encounter text issues.
- Players will now experience each encounter at least once before seeing a duplicate during a run.

Hello adventurers! Our seventh patch is a fun one! We are excited to enter season 2 and to have the community work together to take down another world boss.
Notes
- Season 2 has officially begun.
- New world boss - Eranan - has entered the arena.
- Two new, rare gold enemies have been added (can you find them?).
- Added in percentage amount of boss health to event section.
- Leaderboard has been updated to reflect the highest scores of season 1.
- Made some in game fonts bigger on desktop so they are easier to see.
Patch Notes #6 | Minor Combat Update

Hello adventurers! Our sixth patch is on the lighter side but we think you will enjoy it! We have updated the combat so that enemy choices feel tighter to their proficiencies.
Notes
- Enemy choices are a better reflection of their stats. So players shouldn't feel as blindsided.
- Minor UI updates.
- Removed Twitter timeline embed because it's broken.
- Added in a cool season banner on desktop!
Patch Notes #5 | Seasons and New World Boss!

Hello adventurers! Our fifth patch introduces seasons and a new world boss has enetered the arena. Take him down to unlock the community prize!
Notes
- Introducing seasons - current season is Season 1.
- Leaderboard now reflects top 20 from previous seasons.
- New world boss - Sumuneith.
- World boss health has been reduced to make the community event much more managable.
Patch Notes #4 | New enemy type: Dragon!

Our fourth patch contains a new enemy type: Dragons! We hope this new enemy adds some variation to Windfall. We have also added in some nice UX improvements to make the game smoother for our players.
Notes
- New dragon enemy class.
- One additional golden enemy name.
- Our very first community green enemy name has been added in.
- Added the player's chosen class in game as a visual reminder.
- Home page loader - this allows for the content on the home page to load first then be displayed - avoiding any flashing effect.
- We have upgraded our enemy generator infrastructure to allow for more flexibility.
Patch Notes #3 | Encounters Are Here!

With our third patch we are introducing a new activitty we like to call Encounters! We are excited to have something new for players to do and start dripping in lore for the game. We also created an in game guide alongside a batch of improvements to bring a uniformity to Windfall.
Notes
- Added Encounters! Encounters are a new random activity that adds depth to the existing gameplay loop of Windfall. Encounters place you in unique scenarios across Malsha. We're using the encounter system to slowly introduce lore to Windfall and provide players with an exciting new mechanic.
- Added an in-game guide to help players better understand how to play Windfall.
- UI updates to bring more cohesiveness to the game.
- Made some QoL changes to help players better navigate the game.

Hotfix | UI/UX improvements

We have identified some minor issues that would help players better understand the community event and the game
as a whole. We have added some additional text to the boss area to make the event details more clear as well as
a link to the full details.
We also changed out the not super helpful tutorial video with a simple in game graphic guide to help players
get a better understanding of the in game elements.

We have released our first community event! You can read more about it here.
Along side our event, we upgraded our home page to include some new UI features - mainly a
navigation bar at the top so players can quickly get to what they want to see.

Our first patch for Windfall addresses some minor style updates while
adding some nice little UI updates to help the player understand more
of what's going on during a game. We also want to make the experience
more immersive so things like adding background music are our first steps
towards that.
Notes
- Capped high score board at 15 spots - get crackin!
- Added styling to Lives counter when at one life left.
- Fixed small issue with Dwarf suffix names not appearing.
- Added in dev name restrictions to the score submit - look out for our scores!
- Added shadow to desktop game page to make it pop a little more.
- Added plus life icon on skill check win.
- Added background music and music mute button to the game page.
- High score style update to showcase the top 3 a little more.
- We encountered and issue with switching from light to dark mode. For now we are sticking with dark mode.
